August 28 Vita Will Be Able To Play PS1 Titles

According to Sony at Gamescom, August 28th the Vita will finally be able to play original PlayStation titles.

This feature was announced way back when, but Sony has been very hush-hush about it.

As an owner of a Vita, I’m pretty excited about this, as it’s something I’ve been waiting for. My Vita has been collecting dust until I started Gravity Rush last week. I’m looking forward to carrying around my Vita more and play classics like Final Fantasy VII, Chrono Cross, and Legend of Dragoon.
